anyone playing fortnite still? my bud gave me this code, i guess people are paying 25 bucks a pop for this even though its just a pick axe cosmetic, he was telling me stories of kids going nuts for this in stores trying to get one and most gamestop employees just snagged the stack that was sent to their store and instantly put them on ebay...

So Control is pretty sick. Made by the people who did alan wake. Playing on ps4. It seems like I'm almost done with it so I don't think it is very long. Do not pay $59.99 for it, I got it for 25 bucks black friday. It's pretty great though if you like conspiracy theories or urban legends. I love reading all the shit you pick up to read and usually I hate that stuff. I was unsure but so far I think it has surpassed my expectations. Lags a bit during heavy fights but, whatever it's good. Shalom.

Just recently replayed that one. A great way to blow of some steam after a long day at work. Stoked for DOOM: Eternal. Is Bethesda working on that one as well?

Nice! I played it for hours last night, its worth it

I've been burnt on playing GTAV, so this will be a good refresher/nostalgia kick.

^ I never even played GTA V but it will always be engraved in my head as the favorite video game of some homeless dude's kid that my friends and I once befriended for an hour or two whilst trying to film at a spot. Dude's dad was having the little dude fish out coins from a fountain for him so he could get beer money; wouldn't come close himself, he just waited for the kid to be done in front of the corner store the whole time and generally looked like an irresponsible piece of shit, so we started talking to the kid out of pity, turned out he was actually pretty cool, and he'd pronounce GTA V as GTAV (GTA-vee). Wouldn't take the correction because apparently his family had always called it that so they must be right.

Just the other day, for the first time I ran into that episode of Beavis and Butthead where Butthead insists that Rambo 5 is better than Rambo V and immediately got flashbacks.

Honestly, yeah. If they didn't try to treat it as another cash grab for a popular series then it would have been great. I agree that the snow planet would have made for a fantastic The Thing adaptation, but it just felt so...stale. The voice acting is what really turned me off, too.

Oh, dude, definitely. I went from having Xbox game pass to this and have absolutely zero regrets. The only downside is trying to decide what to play.lol

Also, iKobrakai, is Sekiro really that fun? I'm genuinely interested, but I don't want to spend money I'm going to regret.

Ok, Sekiro is pretty interesting. The fastest From Soft game, you have no stamina this time but have to master the mechanic of dodge, parry and counter. You can jump around. The game is not as cryptic as Souls and Bloodborne. Pretty fucking hard, you can get stuck a lot. Kind of like Ninja Gaiden Black.

I borrowed it, so did not pay a dime. On sale it is worth it, for sure.

It was! The surprise 'cameo' at the end was silly.

Still haven't even tried Sekiro. Christmas sale, maybe..

Thanks for the info, iKobrakai. I’ve always had a love for games like Sekiro. Just hadn’t found a good enough reason to buy it. Might wait until after Christmas and see what’s good.
