so is there an official list of his sponsors Whiteley? i noticed that the question was never asked in the interview, hell... who were his past sponsors? how'd he get hooked up out in oki? you guys never even breached the subject. is it that he was so cool and conversational that it just never came up? or is it that he/you intentionally didn't want it in the interview?

Whitely, the interview works without issue on my OSX 10.5.8 MacBook Pro running Firefox 3.5.2 with Flash 10.0.22.87. I get weird this bizarre rapid flashing refresh issue, however, if I try and view the interview on my Windows XP notebook running Firefox 3.5.2 with Flash 10.0.32.18.

i didn't get much into the sponsors end of thing because i wanted it to be more about what he does and his attitude towards skating rather than who sponsors him since i think his skating exists kind of beyond that realm. he said he got boards from friends who run companies in Japan mainly, nothing I had ever heard of. I think the main one was called Sundance Flow or something close to that. there wasn't any other sponsorship stuff other than occasional shoes from i-path. i sent him questions in english via email, our mutual friend asked him them in japanese and then it was translated back here so i didn't get to talk to him yet. I'm going to japan in october, so maybe then. as far as how he got hooked up, no, i didn't ask him that but i can try to do a little follow up with him...
