I’ve been skating lots more than usual the month. Had 3 abdominal surgeries in the past 2 years. 47yo. Past few weeks have been so fun going to a park every morning. Did my 5 min lil leg stretch, then took a few laps without touching coping, before stretching again. That’s been my routine. Went up the very wall I enjoy most of all and caught somehow? Sticker maybe? Instantly straight right legged to flat then rolled out. Upper calf was instant pain. Trouble walking. Home for 20 min ice . 600mg acetaminophen, then 25 mg flexiril. Can twist leg side to side, it’s just walking, or when I raise up my toes. Pain moving higher from upper calf into lower knee, with occasional hotness. 3 12 hr shifts walking the next 3 days. In 36 years I’ve only ever broken a rib skating. Outer knee pain, sounds like runners knee, but that’s usually not from trauma. If I’m not good tomorrow, I’ll have to go to ER for imaging.
