England. I don't expect to win, but I don't see why we wont get past the group stages.

also, my friend told me that South Korea is 1000:1 to win. i doubt this, but if true, i might just put $20 on them.

If north Korea wins we all loose

Also who are Scottish people supporting this year, we tend to have an official adopted country, last time it was Trinidad and Tobago, but who will the tartan army be following this year?

I typically support the French, but I kind of want to see them tumble out of this tournament just to get rid of that miserable excuse for a coach known as Domeneche.

I'm not sure if many of you know about the qualifier match between Ireland and France but alot of people here still have alot of resent for what happened:

Offside + a doube feel-up. (1:40 onwards for best view)

I'm rooting for Spain and Japan.
Spain because I've a lot of friends living here from Spain and the team has a had pretty bad luck in previous years.
Japan - they're just cool.

i sort of hope france win and because of this the whole tournament is just tainted.

and whole thing is just tainted

that would be insane. id be bummed, but they barely qualified so im not too worried.

***south korea. good call.

I wonder even though north korea is going to inevitably lose, how long it will take for them to be dubbed world cup champions in north korea

Let's talk squads. My favourite is Maradona's choice to leave Cambiasso and Zanetti at home and take Coloccini and Gutierrez.

I want the US to do well, but I'd like to see England win because they seem to be so snakebit.

Reallistically the Germans are always so well organized that you have to play perfect or convert your one chance and hope they don't put in a set piece.  Fucking German efficiency....

That would due to there phenomenal succeses with Newcastle this season....*snigger*

Maradonna's descent into insanity continues, I fully expect him to shoot some one by the end of the tournament.

Futbol players can easily drink skaters under the table. The most respected team sport in my opinion. Shorts, t-shirt, and shoes. And when you are out of bounds you use your hands. So og. Just like skating.
