Has the Europe scene finally taken over the throne from the USA as the coolest skate scene in the world?

Polar, Palace, Isle, Sour, Blobys, Javi Sarmiento...the spots...the contests...

The UK scene sucks and is contrived as hell

Currently the Americas lead over the Euros. First Euro guy in 9th. The euro scene apparently has a long way to go.

In reality, Euros are killing it harder than US.

Maybe because traveling around Europe is so much cheaper than the USA these days. Even if you go to Paris or Rome which are relatively expensive for Europe, they're half the cost than if you spend amount of time in NYC or SF or LA. You can get from Rome to Paris for €30 on EasyJet and then from Paris to Berlin or Barcelona or Copenhagen for the same. To get from SF to Portland (for example) would cost at least over $100, and then where do you go?, Vancouver or Seattle? Which travel plan would you prefer? I know which one I'd choose.

Europe is just more in line with a skateboarder's financial status.

slap & shalom are based in the US so the choice is quite obvious.

I actually heard that Cali is alright.  Is the States fun?  Do you guys like living there?  End of the day Europe has more to offer.  Portugal, spain, i hear that london is fun.  I like people from France. I bet Croatia is a laugh.

Hey Euro guys,

What's your experience with carrying on boards with Easy Jet, Ryan Air, Eurowings, etc? I've heard with some it's no issue while others take your board away.

Euro scene and accessibility to travel ftw. Easy.

up until now I could always take my board as carry on and I would say I fly relatively often about 6 to 12 times a year.

If I was a euro skater I’d say fuck USA brands except Indy, Ace and Spitfire. Other wise USA brands just turn Euro skaters into basically an AM. That happened with Alien, Santa Cruz, and a few others. So polar would be my board of choice if I were Euro

EU is shalom but the skate world is too centered. What about other places? What about the scene in inner Asia?

Too centered? Fuck outta here ya imbecile. Uk has a scene, France has a scene, Germany has a scene, do i need to list more?
Success is not final, failure is not fatal. It’s the courage to continue that counts.

But the U.S. of the A also have: Berra, Remive, Nyjah and the flying rapists...and the list goes on.

This is not a World skate topic right strictly EU vs USA debating, what about the harm a "no deal" brexit will do to the EU skate scene?

Sure if they don’t put Euro skaters as their “international team” it bugs the fuck out of me when companies do this. Some of those Euro skaters deserve to be on the real deal team and not some 2nd degree back burner basically an Am shit
