Finally saw Casino for the first time. What a fucking movie
[close]

I too watched that the other month. Feels like there are a lot of "Must see" famous movies I still need to check off.

I went out to the movies last night with the woman and saw "Bones and All"

Interesting concept but it felt a little empty and stretched out too long with a kind of cop-out ending.

Casino definitely goes on too long but there’s some amazing scenes. Couldn’t say the same for Scorsese’s The Irishman.

Oh, I was talking about that new movie "Bones and All" with Taylor Russel and Timothee Chalamet. It's only 2 hours 10 mins but felt a little long still. Even though Casino is almost 3 hours long it doesn't feel like it has much filler or overly long scenes.  Lots of good build-up and payoff in that time, unlike this new film.

Reality Bites was an awesome fuckin 90s movie. Directed by Ben Stiller and stars him, Winona Ryder, Ethan Hawke and another girl thats good.  Worth a rent
definitely a nostalgia flick for me. I have the dvd and play it at least once a year.

Bullet Train was a fun action movie. Same guy co-directed John Wick and some other action favorites so I knew what I was in for.

Been curious about this one. Looked like a fun movie, but wasn't sure if it would be one of those "loaded with a star-studded cast, but absolute shit film" situations. Glad to know it's worth a watch.

Atomic Blonde was his best and is criminally underrated

Arkansas (2020). Awesome drug thriller with a great cast. The Flaming Lips do the majority of the soundtrack via country covers, a unique treat.

In Bruges. Violent, tragic, and fucking hilarious. Colin Farrell’s finest performance since Phonebooth. Can’t forget Ralph Fiennes or Brendan Gleeson either of course.

It's seriously a perfect movie. Was so lucky I saw it at the cinema just by chance didn't even know what it was just saw the poster.

I felt like enjoying Collin Farrel's work was a guilty pleasure until I saw that one pretty late.

You really were so lucky damn. I randomly caught it flicking between HBO and Showtime a few years back and felt like I struck gold. Same feeling I had with Snatch and Layer Cake like 2 weeks later. English films just hit different.

Whoops haha. Maybe “UK”would’ve been the more proper designation but that only counts for Northern Ireland. Idk

All 3 films mentioned are fantastic…

I love these little details (even if unintentional)…

Dennis Farina goes to open the passenger door, but UK driver side is on right…never noticed until a YouTube comment

I wish so badly I was in that movie I'll never see.

I wanna meet Bette midler desperately.

^^another fukn banger. After last snowblood everyone also watch hanzo the razor and the lone wolf and cub series. Also just listen to the soundtracks too.
Stay away from shogun assassin tho unless you're gonna just quickly skim thru and watch a min here and there to see if you like it.

Feel better @DaleSr
I watched Interstellar last night. It had some interesting aspects and even the most unlikeable characters have these beautifully empathetic moments since the viewer knows that they'd also make some bad decisions while terrified and facing extinction.

I watched The Menu the other day and really enjoyed it. It's more of a dark comedy than the horror/thriller it's described as

Didn't go for Amsterdam after all. Instead watched Argentina 1985 which is about the prosecution of war crimes committed by the argentine military in the 70s

Slumberland with Jason Momoa.

The light house in the little kids dreams looks exactly like my mom's old apartments on LSD.  It's almost like one of the Marblehead homies designed this film.

I wish I could make shit like that. May art is too dark and difficult to do on a schedule.
