^ Actually I like those better when they're not popped, at least the bs ones.
Thing is, if I'm sitting in my room thinking about this, I can think of a few ugly tricks, but when I'm skating with people, I'm pretty much hyped on any trick as long as they land it. I don't really see how you couldn't be, it's just the energy of skating.
Also, IMO Brian Anderson isn't the only person with a good varial flip. There's Carroll, Hufnagel, Kenny Reed, Ocean Howell, and others I'm forgetting. But I do agree Brian Anderson can make really unpopular tricks look amazing.
