IF YOU HAVE SEX ONCE, YOU GET HERPES. IF YOU DO COKE ONCE, YOU DIE AND LOSE YOUR JOB.
I used to work with a gay dude who was really into metal which is also a pretty homophobic culture and he was always somewhat quiet about his preference. Most of his friends outside of metal knew through highschool, and then right before college he came out to his family and the rest of his friends. Needless to say, no one was TOO surprised and everyone was VERY accepting. Keep in mind that this was in fucking Kansas, which isn't the most accepting of states. I would like to think that we are finally getting closer to a more accepting culture. I've never understood why anyone would ever give that much care to who someone totally unrelated to them is fucking.
i have a gay brother, he used to skate but doesn't anymore. we skated together last night though. i guess that makes him an openly gay skateboarder
why are u fools still posting in here

seriously? aren't we the ones who are pretty much leading the way to helping make the gay lifestyle more accepted?
are having the same battles about sames sex marrage that we are. doesn't pretty much every country in the world have laws against homosexuality? we seem progressive to me but maybe i'm missing the bigger picture.

It even says it in your article, which goes onto mention many other countries that do have them still, kind of proving Sleazy's point.

skate mental is listed as one of his sponsors at tampa pro
Oh, its because it mentions about 20-30 other countries that do have "sodomy" laws, then explains that the U.S. doesn't. Therefore, it kind of proves sleazy's point that the U.S. is more progressive than many nations.

But let's continue...If you group the US with that minority of 40 countries where male-male sodomy is illegal (mostly 3rd world countries), then yes, States seem ultra progressive and you can start celebrating. But If you group them with the 100+ other countries where homosexuality is legal, then not so much. You see, if the vast majority of countries have legalized homosexual acts, then the fact that the US have also done the same (and only in 2003 on a national level. USA #1!) then it's not progressive anymore, it's normal.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LGBT_rights_by_country#LGBT-related_laws_by_country_or_territory
