Glad I ordered mine ASAP, got my pair coming in the mail today

I did think it was kind of weird that you couldn't find them anywhere else online, maybe someone who manages their ecomm jumped the gun

EComm jumped the gun.  Hard launch is this coming Monday, so kudos to you bros who snagged them early from our site. Only a few more days til the launch, thanks for hanging in there with us on these.

Lacing up the 1010’s right now they feel amazing. Stupid light due to the fuel cell midsoles and mesh on the top of the toecap. Surprisingly flexible. They definitely feel like a premium, supportive shoe but they’re definitely not as bulky as you might think based of appearances. Can’t wait to skate these later. Fit fine true to size

I’ve been skating a sample 1010 and I’m very stoked on them. Will buy every color.

Question for anyone that got the 1010's early. How is the sizing/width? I don't skate NB# normally, but have worn plenty of New Balance shoes outside of skating. I have a wider foot but I don't have too many issues unless a shoe runs particularly narrow. I usually wear a 10 across the board, maybe a half size down in Cons.

Thanks in advance for any coherent response.

Just got in my 1010. Super light and really comfy. They feel wider but not super wide. I went TTS. I'm really liking them. Might be a casual shoe until my Tyshawns wear out.

I can see them- they're looking really good.

On a different note, the quality of socks on Slap if pretty damn good these days.

Is it just me or does the gum sole wear out faster than the N-durance . Or do they have N-durance on the gum soles now. The bottom of every shoe is have had on my 440 have been insane how long they last but I have had some gum sole PJ's and I cooked through them quick. Can homies at NB confirm? Thanks 👍

I’m nearly through the gum soles of my 913s while the uppers still looks new. The tread was never particularly deep to begin with although the grip was good.

That's always been my experience with gum soles/toes.

Damn the sole on the 913 was great for me although I do hop into my foot placement 90% of the time and typically never blow out my soles before destroying the upper on any shoe. The only time I ever did was some old supras with that shallow ass tread.

I burn through ollie holes like nobodies business though

I’ve been told I’m “putting out cigarettes” when I set up for stuff so that’s probably rough on the ball of the foot treads.

I’m sometimes heavily rocked by the sock and shoe combos some people have posted in the “shoes you’re wearing” thread. Ankle socks or those slightly higher than ankle half socks are sickening.

Completely agree. Ankle socks with trousers are tantamount to a war crime in my books.

I don't understand why people don't like the black 1010 colorway. It's so good.

They are $200 on the Australian nb site, which is like $140 US. Look dope, but thats pretty steep, given most other skate shoes here top out around $150 AU
Is it true?  Or did you read it on the slap message board?
