Nothing beats the original graphics tho.

Few remember that there was a real double kicktail that Vision made that came out around the same time.

yeah but no one got the double vision. i think mike gets credit for the first board that people actually got and rode.

The vision was much more of a smooth ride. Vallely had such a short nose and at 9.5 inches wide it was ridiculous.

Hate your first board, but take all credit and praise for it? Okay Mike.

I'm not much of a Mike V fan, but the nostalgic part of this old skaters heart skipped a beat upon seeing that new graphic. It's pretty awesome. So I decided to buy one...but then immediately realized that I'm broke. So never mind.

I always thought this was the best seller graphic...

I dig the nostalgia but it's kind of a hypocrite move since he hated that first graphic...

it did.  it was this stupid picture of a guy puking into his own mouth or something that looked the same forwards or backwards, and the nose/tail was a lot squarer.  i think there was a tony hawk board with a symmetrical square nose/tail soon after that as well.

and as much as i'm sick of vallely's schtick, i gotta admit that i like everything i've seen from his new company.  all the shapes and graphics look pretty good.  a lot of companies are banking on the nostalgia thing right now, but his elephant boards make me want to skate them and not hang them on a wall

I remember that one. It was just a wood grain bottom with a pictogram in the middle: toe + knee + hawk and then a cartoon POW + well… forgot what they use for Peralta. Probably one of the worst graphics I’ve ever seen.

There’s another double kick G&S on this page

yep that's all i remember about it too. i always wanted gonz's split face graphic (which was also one of the 1 doublekick boards too if memory serves me correctly?) and only just noticed that he reissued it on krooked... would make a great wall board.
