Its true. Hardly anyone on here, with a few exceptions, has anything decent to say. All of you laugh at the "state of skateboarding" but its shitheads like you that make it laughable. Argue. Post generic insults. Wont change anything.

well, no shit. What board isn't. Atleast some people are articulate in explaining the stupid reason they hate somebody even though the only reason they hate them is because somebody else told them too.

In other words, everybody hates Ronson Lambert, but nobody has a real reason to.

believe it or not, the industry produces a lot of this crap. They talk of individualism, creativity, and independence, but tell you that tricks have to be perfect. The videos that come out are of the best tricks a skater can do. When the kids see that their expectations rise to crazy levels. Just yesterday, I heard this roach say how he didn't like how some kid just blasted a fat heel flip off the bank. He then pushes away mongo footed and can't even ollie off the bank. It was a joke.

I've always said, "it aint right to try and dictate the game in anyway, especially if you're not a skater your self." I guess I'm kind of doing it now but my ideas don't shit on the heads of people out there doing it.

true, I can't dissagree.

However, there isn't as much diversity in skating like there used to be. That's just fact. I enjoyed skating more when you'd see guys like Joe Valdez doing it. It seemed a lot more colorfull then.

I will say though that there has been some good going on too. Vert, street, pools, mini, parkhips-are all getting respect now.

Everybody and nobody shouldn't be used so lightly. I dislike him and have disliked him since I was introduced to him by his awful FKD part. My reasons: slow skating, atrocious attempts at looking like Wenning when he lands tricks. Basically everything he does I get so thrown off by the theatrics that I can't possibly find it in me to like him. I would like him if he actually took a clue from Wenning and

1. Skated faster
2. Stopped trying to look so fucking fresh and just be natural

3. (not necessary but would be nice) Use some halfway decent music in his video parts

Haven't we gone over this before? I wish everyone just looked like Creager when they skated, then life would be nice.

issac has a good point, constructive critisism is a better approach to posting then just saying, that guy has terrible style, he dosent deserve to be pro or he is washed up.

id rather find the good aspects of the new skateboarders coming out then knock them down.

of course but I was commenting specifically on the to hate or not to hate. You either don't like something and say something negative or you like it and say something positive.

a professional is someone who gets paid to do what they do. if you don't get paid, you aren't a pro. you skate for fun, hence amatuer status. maybe "retired pro" would be a better and more accurate term.
