Does anyone here remember a part (i think for sm) where Plunkett skated to Zombie, by the Cranberries? I think it got scrubbed from youtube but i used to watch that all the time to get stoked to skate. I wish it was still around. Felt like his best part to me.

All I know is those white quilted leather blue swoosh blazer mids are probably the best shoes Nike put out this year. And they went down to like $59 shipped on the non-hypebeast nike app. Too bad they put Kostons name on the heel instead of nike. But that’s why they hit the sale bin and can still be found under retail.

Someone Who Isn’t Me skates 100% already sponsors koston, or at the very least he has asked. Koston asking dill to put him on the team while dill smokes a cig inside somewhere, looks at koston and says “I’ll give you boards, but the team is for kids maaaan” is one of the funnier things to come out of FA existing.

Was he also listed in that palace ad listing people that asked to ride for palace (including dill before playing his last card and whoring out his Tshirt company that very rarely made tshirts.FA pre 2013 was a much different thing. Oddly the only people I ever saw wearing it besides dill were Kanye and Spanky.) then said “we’re looking for someone more like Tony Ferguson.” That shit was sick.

Plunkett seems like the dude that has unassuming taste, as in: run of the mill, skater's skater BUT his music, side passions, interests are all tasteful. Like there's something going on beyond skating in life for him. Some pros nowadays, skating is their only thing and they don't know how to be a human in other facets of life: music, artn, work, hobbies, passions, etc.

Although I might be biased because I live in Ohio currently and have been spending some serious time in Cleveland..

Swims graphics may not be the most oRiGiNaL board graphics out there, but at least there is someone who sitting down and drawing/painting/creating the actual graphics and not just spending 3-5 seconds googling different Kings and copy and pasting graphics from Wikipedia into the middle of a board and calling it a day.

The people running board companies should be passionate about that shit. I’m a fucking dork, but I’ve daydreamed probably 15 years worth of board graphics and what not over the last 23 years of skateboarding… because this shit means a lot to me haha. I don’t understand the mindset to leave a company with a defined (albeit corny) vision to start your own company, seemingly devoid of vision, image, or plan.

Having a board company that is a labor of love that doesn’t connect with 100% of the skateboarders out there is better than a lazy company that seems like an after thought. People get board graphics tattooed on them. This shit matters to people and it should at the very least matter to you if it’s your company.

As for King, how can you compare the expectation that people have for the new brand of Tyshawn (one of the goat, adidas, 2 SOTY, Supreme) and two underground skaters starting a small brand (one was nowhere and the other was skating for skate mental lol) . It's like a new star wars franchise and a small indie flick. OF COURSE people expect big things from the first

I did not get the comparison, it’s like people here in Texas comparing whataburger and in-n-out, two completely different burgers, shouldn’t even be in the same sentence together much less in a side by side, I do feel like a lot of people on here are highly more critical than they are in their normal day to day, and putting some kind of expectations into any board brand is going to inevitably leave you disappointed
