58mm Spitfire Classic 97a
Team Hollow Thunder 161
Good call on those Thunders. Hasn't there been a Classic 58mm 97a? I know I've had 56s? They weren't that great. I think the 97s are better with a wider contact patch.
Too true. Soft is better with a wide contact patch.
I loved my 80hd classics tho. I just tried to look for um but nah. They missing.
I got them I think right when they dropped? I had to replace my "Supper Balls" super wide too at 54 mm. Was like a coni but white as the driven snow.
Super balls were the best cruiser I've ever had. That brand was local to New England.
I bought them at Brick house in Marbehead on the day I quit skatebloarding in 02 I think.
I went in said I give up. Everyone hates me. I quit tricks.
Gimme the soft wheels plz.
They all laughed because they liked me and thought I was joking but I wasn't.
I took 11 years of near daily not skating to core the wheel.
I did it outside The Wreck Ctr on Rugg in 2013. Ripped myself up went in and slammed all night in a blackout.
There was a video being filmed of the show I had no idea because I was almost blacked out. Multiple pit angles. I love those guys so much.
I wish the Wreck and the Boiler Room was back
Also Super Ball wheels I need.
Here's the core
Really quickly
I feel like the 97a is going to become the new standard by 2025.
Unless someone starts fixing streets soon.
I need to know. What are the current road conditions in your local area?
What was they like 10-20 years ago?
I believe the big wheels craze is partly a response to current road conditions..... The rest is wanting to look like a G+.
I replaced the super bowls with the 53mm 80hd. I took like 10mm off in 3-4 years.
I said they're pretty good. Maybe I a try the sapphire sometime.
I'm Ulta jonesing to ride the Beat Downs. It's hard to put my emotional hopes into words.
Just think about when they're down from 66.6 to like 63 64.
It's never going to get any better than that
