Being so fcking nice all the time. Michael Rappaport had a point when he was at BATB4. Everyone's so diplomatic with their commentary it makes everything boring. Yeah, i guess it's better for their career to say nice things, but it takes the flavour out of it.

Thats one of the things that makes Heath so sick.

i like my grip tape straight up black.

This is very disappointing news, I just invested a large sum of money in a griptape/porn company.

target and skateboarding should never cross paths.

youve never bought a drink from target before or after skating? or tried to skate the big red balls?

Inception style ledge tricks.

A trick
within a trick
within a trick
within a trick

Pudds is blazing that trail.

What's wrong with one really long smooth trick, instead of doing the fucking Bojangles on the ledge?

Also, 2 songs 1 part. Stop it. (I'm looking at you Marc)

that stuff was all 2005-'06, and aside from those few clips at the Olympic stadium in Montreal, is all spots from New Hampshire. And thats if we're using the term "spots" loosely.

This one might just be me, but kids at parks or spots showing up and trying the most ridiculous/ difficult thing they can think of usually with no chance of landing it. It just seams like I see it more and more, If you cant kickflip on flat, I doubt your fullcab-flip down a set of stairs is happening. If you can barely 50-50 a foot high box without landing all sketched out, you don't need to try to grind up a rail for an hour.
[close]

Never understood that one myself, do they think they will get lucky once and land it? It also leads to getting hurt more because you are trying something you are not way ready to be doing.
nah, it'll work eventually. you just gotta yell and throw your board a lot. then bystanders will know that normally, you are very good at skateboarding, and are just having an off day.
i'm not the official voice of the park, i'm just a guy who skates and works there...

- pre fab parks. just give us a parking lot where we can build our own shit instead.
- going pro too early. it's probably always been a thing, but now it just seems like you put one video part out and then you're pro. i'm way more stoked when i've been waiting for someone's board to come out then it finally happens
-the lack of pros driving honda civics. not really, i'm glad they can make bank now, but i do appreciate it when people aren't so ostentatious

-Kids asking you to play SKATE the second you get into a park
-BMX kids chunking up all the god damned ledges (is that a trend in skating?)
-TF's
-Pro's trying to be good role models
-Skateboarding in TV ad's
-Skatepalza's being built everywhere but NJ

I actually prefer to skate alone.

i prefer to go skate alone. if i run into some people, fantastic, if not, cool. who's got time to coordinate with other people when you want to bust out for a quick session.
