It sounds like that's exactly what Jamie did, but Forrest couldn't even be bothered to shoot a welcome ad or actually film a part...

"Our crew tried to connect with him to film and shoot photos for his interview and the ad, but he’d always flake, and the few times they did hook up with him, it was a nightmare.

His footage was all over the place and with a bunch of different people. When we finally got it all together, some of it had been used, he had tons of repeats and a lot of HD fisheye, so we didn’t really have a part. He also only had one sequence for his interview and after 3 months of reminding him, we still didn’t have an ad, so I sat down with him to try and discuss a plan, but he just shut down; it was too much pressure. I felt like it was going to be a never-ending headache, so I pulled the plug and told him it wasn’t going to work out. It was tense for a few weeks, but after a bit, I think Forrest understood the situation. We’re cool now."

I agree with you. I just wish I could see more Forrest footage or ride his board. Maybe he can get with Weck and get on Square Up Skateboards. I mean they are the toughest company in the Biz. If Weck can't keep Forrest in line no one can.

Didn't even need to go that far, there's tons of assholes in skateboarding. On one side I see why Jamie didn't go further with Forrest, but I think he didn't try to at least teach him some basic stuff before giving the boot. I mean, just look at the stuff with Kobra Cole, I'm sure telling Forrest to wait for his boards and stop fucking up the whole marketing process wouldn't be that harder.

I love the guy and wish he was living comfortably (not sure if his sponsors are doing that for him) but, I think he may be on the spectrum or something that's why he may seem hard to deal with and responds to things the way he does. Was hoping that he'd at least stay on Pig Wheels

I went to a mystery/zero demo maybe around 2013, I got there an hour early to skate the park myself. I figured due to skateboard time the demo wouldn’t start for a couple hours. The van was already there but not that many people were there yet.
I didn’t recognize Forest at first but he was flailing his board around, kicking his board away like a crazy man, Bailing a full 360 kickflip kinda looks kooky. He didn’t land anything for 20min.
Then proceeds to basically do every trick in all these videos perfectly, for 30min. The demo starts and he’s just sitting between two cars, over it bumming cigs. His bloard was new but looked so soggy and chewed up after and hour of skating.
I don’t blame him I wouldn’t want to sit in a van with Garett Hill, cobra, etc. but you could tell those guys were pissed.
Plus Jaime probably made a trick and spot list for him.

I hear what your saying, but show me one local hero kid that has produced footage like Forrest. I'm pretty sure no one compares to his trick selection, style, and straight up rawness.

Forrest may definitely be on spectrum, which sucks for him, because people like Chief will only put up with that for so long. If Forrest had another mental or physical disability people would tolerate his nonsense since he's incredible, but since were not sure if he's autistic or not...will just label him as a Kook and throw him out to pasture
