Walt taught him the importance of quality craftsmanship.  He's going to apply that in his life.  The scene shows that, after all he has been through, he's grown and matured.  He has a brighter future now than he did when Walt originally approached him.

what was the box building scene's meaning? I missed that.

agreed I found it a little lame that the nazis brought Jesse in to prove they they aren't partners. seemed dumb. I loved the rest of it tho, it being a easy/safe ending was almost a twist in itself when u consider what crazy shit they pump out regularly. Walt not getting to say bye to Flynn was probably my favourite part of the episode.

also Merked u really redeemed urself on here, way to show ur actually kinda smart and don't just suck reddits lil weenie

I cannot tell if sarcasm because, as I have said before, I really do not go on Reddit so I do not know what you are comparing my knowledge to...  Anything that I have read about this show and posted here has come from 4chan or Imgur.  Imma go ahead and assume that you are being sarcastic though.  Also, I am disappointed that you did not understand the box reference...  I thought you were better than that.

It's pointless to worry about the details of whether or not Jesse will caught up with the incident or not.
He may live free from now on, he may be on the run the rest of his life, who knows.

It sucks when shows try too hard to conclude every single little thing in the show that they don't have enough time to conclude the most important part of the show.  Jesse is important, but the whole time, this was Walt's story.  He did Jesse one final favor by saving him and letting him go (despite the fact that he may or may not have had the intention of having him killed).  So for me, the end of Jesse's story was good enough.

I liked how empty Walt's goodbye's were to everyone.  He leaves Skyler without a word, says nothing to Flynn, says nothing to Jesse, shoots Jack mid sentence, tosses the cell without giving lydia any time to say anything.

Best part of the episode for me.  Cranston is a beast of an actor.

I suck at SLAP.

That, or it was confiscated as the proceeds of an illegal enterprise.

You and the D00D have turned this thread into a horrible head-on-collision between a short bus full of regular kids and a van full of paraplegics.

Fuck Jane / Skylar.
Murder Andrea / Carmen.
Marie Marie / Lydia.

You guys are crazy wanting to kill Marie.  Dat handjob.  Be like Forrest and that Asian chick.  Handjobs in the shower.  Handjobs while I eat lasagne.  Handjobs while she steals stuff.

Carmen was kind of an odd one to toss in there.  I would have gone with Wendy.  She's an earner.  Loyal too.

Read with a pretentious Chicago accent in your head- "How can you say that man? she is like, the best actor and so beautiful. She won an emmy dude, I mean, they aren't giving those away."

Her acting chops are definitely there, but Skylar just isn't... easy on the eyes.

If you've got plenty of time up your sleeve, here's a podcast where Vince Gilligan talks about some alternate ways to end the show that he and the writers tossed around (alt. endings are also summarized in text in the link above - too much to copy and paste here). I think we got the best one.
