I too, would like to see 868s again. The last and only pair I had just would not die haha.

I do understand if people don't get them, though.

But man they do look + skate dope.

i don’t think any of you are real, i think slap was invented by my mom to make me think people want to talk to me

868 needs to comeback full time. better than the tech westgate and looks more like a made in usa nb.

Totally agreed. Better than the Tiago IMO too (at least look wise).
You can colorblock it in the classic New Balance Grey's from the 99X's series and get a fuckin' banging of a shoe.

i've still got these!!!

hardly art, hardly starving

Also here to say 868 > 1010.  Bring them back!  Maybe with a tread redesign that isn't a pebble magnet.

if i am an us9 in vans, nike, adidas,..

what size do you suggest in Tiago1010 and nb 850?
been eyeing both.

I happily wear US9 in 1010s and Vans/Nike SB/Adidas
take what small comfort there may be left
seize what you love and damn all the rest

Just got in a pair of the 272s I ordered. These joints run long as hell. I'm a snug 11.5 in 212s, 255s, and 306s. I've got an easy thumbs width of slack in the tip of these babies.

Goddamnit I side with Will.
The 868s were really good, yes a pebble magnet, and also fairly firm in the forefoot. But nice nonetheless.
1010s are significantly more comfortable. And last longer (I had the 868s pretty early on, and then a few more pairs, some had some gluing/durability issues, still good for tho).
For me my fave 1010 cw is the beef broccoli, as some call it

I was under the impression that the 868 got canned because of Tiagos model. I loved the 868 and in my world both of these shoes should coexist :)

Both the gray and black/white Tiagos look sick as hell I just can't get there since I've been avoiding "athletic shoes" my entire life and these get real close to blurring that line. That's a me problem of course, still carrying that punk rock elitism thing way too far into my 40's (ironic, isn't it?).

868 was on my radar, but no one in my area ever carried them. I always need to try a shoe on first. NB# is a lot easier to find these days. I wants a pair. I looked on eBay and couldn’t find any that were my size. There are some pairs on there though!

They run small IMO so I'd say go a full size up or half size at least. NB# sizing is so inconsistent (some fit big, some fit small)
I've got a pair I'm still not sure I'll skate as they feel really really cramped (size 9, true size 8.5 but I always wear a 9)
Maybe all this talk and I'll give them another go ;)

Maybe the sickest 1010 colorway to come out so far. Reminds of some of the 2002r colorways that New Balance does, like the year of the ox one.
