Seeing the whole real team minus Huf, Ishod, and Chima at the new park here in Fremont was unbelievable. Everyone is so damn good in their own way.

Backside 5050's on a round flatbar.

learned these the other day. easier than i thought it'd be and super fun.

Impossibles have been getting increasingly easier lately and have been my go to flatground trick as a result. i enjoy the feeling of a properly wrapped impossible.

Decided not to get hammed Sat and got to the park at 8:30 AM on Sunday with a few friends and it was empty as fuck.  Skated for four hours.  Doing this every weekend.
You inspired me to do similar, go skate park early in the morning by myself.

carbondale, IL? They must have changed it because the last time I was there it was a struggle.
Look I'm not selling anything that doesn't have my jizz on it. I don't care how much is offered.

Did a whole bunch of those wallie no comply's on a parking block today. That trick feels really good when the board hits the parking block perfectly and the board pops up high.

Cruising around the neighbourhood early this morning before the heat started to pick up. Most skating I've done in a few weeks. I'm getting lazy...

Landed one of those no-comply 5-0s (like what the elder god Jake Johnson does in that GX1000 video) after a couple tries!

Skated the 7th St DIY Park in Wilmington, DE. Those dudes have a cool thing going there and Kinetic is such a great shop.

Do you come at the ledge straight on? I tried to come at them frontside but every time I try my board ends up hitting the ledge and my board turns sideways

Skated a little flatground in the garage today since the Memphis heat is killer today. It was fun. My friends suck and bail on me a lot blahblahblahblahbullshitblahblahblah.

EDIT: I just went on a cruise around the neighbourhood and found a little spot. It's a street to downhill bike/walking path gap. Nearly killed myself ollieing it. But I got it, thankfully.

There's something so pure about skating a gap by yourself. It's like that Beat thing of burning their writing before anyone could read it...no one saw you ollie that gap but you, and that's rad.

it is a DIY place, but officially sanctionned by the city. also the guys who built it have started their own skatepark business and learned with the Team Pain crew a bit, I think. at first there was only a bowl and they've kept adding stuff over the last 4 or 5 years.
Anyways.....just might be the best park I've ever skated!

Got to go out with a friend and skate around and session a big curved ledge downtown here for a few hours earlier. When you have 8 month old twins and a five year old it's a rare thing. warmed up and did all my go to grind and flip/grind combos but I finally figured out how to pop out of front truck grinds mid ledge without doing a shove it out or going to fakie on fs and bs crooks and nosegrinds and it feels amazing. Played a game of skate, got scraped and watched my buddy do a fs tailslide fs shove to lipslide on the ledge which was NBD as far as i knew. Played pool and came home. Today was a good day.

Care to elaborate? I still haven't figured it out.
I just sort of nollie out sideways without the pop similar to the types of micro-ollies you'd do to get up a curb where you don't even tap the tail and just yank it up with your front foot and let your back foot back on when it's time. just take the weight off of your front truck by sliding your back foot toward the bolts or further while moving your tail away from the ledge. Guide your front end off by taking advantage of the change in weight distribution sliding it back off of the nose and  pushing away from the ledge as you level and straighten out.

I don't think I adequately explained it at all. I'll re read this tomorrow and edit if I can think of a better way to explain it than "stomp on the back bolts and shove your front end off to the ground gently"
