skating a Colony now.  8.25.  the shape is sooo good.  Shuffle, can you divulge the dimensions on the 8.25 holy smokes? it might be just in my head, but it feels even better than the holy-grail magenta 8.25 generator shape.

are all your 8.25s the same shape?  aside from width, how does the 8.5 shape compare?

keep up the rad work!
hardly art, hardly starving

Thanks dude!

The wood is actually South Central.
All of them are the same shape!
14 1/8 WB and I made the noses and tails on the longer side.

The 8.5 and 8.38 both have a 14.25 WB. I just like the control over a shorter board
The 8.38 has a medium concave and the 8.5 is a little more mellow than a medium concave.
All of my shapes have a pretty blunt nose.

Shufflesss - Great info.

Interesting that you adjusted the WB a little bit on that shape. I am a pretty big fan of South Central boards, I've skated at least 5 Politic boards and 3 Northern boards, all South Central and all but one was 8.25, the other was 8.38. Super strong and rigid boards. I like South Central as much as I like Generator.

All that said, I do feel like the tail on the standard 8.25 SC shape takes some getting adjusted to because it "feels" small because of how steep South Central concave is. So to hear that you've shortened the WB by 1/8 - lengthening the tail and the nose - sounds perfect.

Sorry for bumping such an old thread. Can any one answer if colony is still around? I was kinda feeling the graphics when they were originally posted and wouldn't mind snapping one up for a future deck.
