I got a pair of the canvas black and white cts and im thinking of skating them, how long would they hold up? i am willing to use some shoe goo on em.

The waxed canvas ones lasted a while for me. With shoe goo you should be able to skate them for 3 weeks to a month depending on how hard you are on shoes.

fuck shoe goo, dont be an idiot, get some super glue and smear some on it before you skate them.
the canvas will become plastic like and it wont be noticeable, instead of having a fucking splat of shoe goo on your shoe.

I had the high top blue ones. I'd say do a couple of ollies and switch ollies to see where it will begin to wear through, then put some super glue on those spots. I did that about once a week and mine lasted about 5-6 weeks.

This is 100% true. I've had four pairs and did this to every single one. Sweatercuff has a great tutorial on shoe goo.

The key is the ice cube. Every other tip in there that I give is kinda optional, (unless you're as obsessive/picky as me) but I'm amazed at how many people haven't been taught to use that one trick.

The key is the ice cube. Every other tip in there that I give is kinda optional, (unless you're as obsessive/picky as me) but I'm amazed at how many people haven't been taught to use that one trick.

It might have even been an issue of Slap!

I just slapped it on there, spread it with an ice cream stick and grip tape sanded the rough bits but now I'm gonna take it to the next level. It's weird because I'm obsessively picky about most things but until now not this.
