Minnesota sports as a whole really are cursed. God just hates us. Did anyone see Polak's injury yesterday? That was nasty, I hope it doesn't end his career, but there have to be some torn ligaments in there. That was awful.
Oh that's a blown out ACL MCL for certain. Having a similar injury I cringed hard.
Similar thing here, broke my ankle in february and I'm still five and a half weeks out from walking thanks to a disconnected ligament. I can't imagine how bad a totally blown out ligament must be. Speedy recovery to both of you guys

It's always gross to see the skate fold 180 degrees behind the player like that. Not surprised it came as a result of a Brooks Orpik hit (despite the fact it was a clean hit).
Wild being a team that plays a defense first system while lacking scorers is catching up to them. Jake Allen standing on his head doesn't help either. Bruins are in somewhat of a similar situation in that they lack major scorers outside the top line, but at least with the Bruins that top line is likely top 3 in the entire league (Maybe even tops - Marchand, Bergeron, Pastrnak).
We definitely have scorers, but we have so many that it's spread out. Staal led the team with only 28 goals, but we were 2nd in the league in goals for. I'm really conflicted over Jake Allen though. Living in the Chicagoland area, I'm a Chicago Wolves fan so I'm glad to see a product of their system doing so well in the league (Eddie Lack too, for that matter), I just wish it wasn't against my team.
Fuck, heal up quick man!
My knee injury is fucked, specialist says at least a year and there is a possibility I'll never fully recover. I do physio 4x a day and after 4 months I just took my first steps without crutches. I still need them but I was starting to think I might not ever walk again, scary shit.
I cant even begin to describe the pain. It's 24/7 for the first few months. So bad opiates hardly help and you can't eat or sleep.
Good news for polak is Im sure he'll get better medical care than me lol.
Don't sleep on the leafs guys. They are a year or so behind the oilers in development. Clearly they won't win the cup this year but they'll be strong contenders over the next few years.
Looks like Pitts is gonna sweep, big advantage for them IF the caps/Chicago make it out of the first round
