i'm also really anticipating Hudson Mohawke's upcoming album. i had no idea Antony and Miguel were featured on it.

and im obsessed with this song. i know it's more of a hip-hop style production, but it's incredible.

are any of you guys from Southern California going to Hard Summer? i've never gone to one, but this line-up has some actual quality artists and not just a bunch of EDM shitheads

i know there's gonna be a bunch of drugged-up douches and bros at this, but maybe it'll be worth it in order to see Jamie xx, The Chemical Brothers, HudMo, Young Thug, Ratatat, Caribou, Lunice, Die Antwoord, Erol Alkan, etc.

A few nights ago I got to see all these acts- Grammatik, Griz, Beats Antique, Savoy, Empire of the Sun, Porter Robinson, Damian Lazurus, Matthew Dear and Paco Osuna. Had only heard of the first 3 mentioned, and Beats was the only act I'd actually heard/seen live before.

Damn though! Griz & Grammatik were fire!! Griz even had dudes come up and sit on on trumpet trombone and saxophone for a few choice cuts. I hadn't really given this kind of music much time before, but it was fucking fun!!

Anyone else think its kinda lame how enough tunes are coming out that are just straight up DJ Pierre/Fast Eddy bites, yea tb-303's sound awesome but do something original with it!
