that kadow part was genuinely funny.
i can tolerate bill's filming and i think the immersive style works a lot of time, but he really sucked the impact out of those tyshawn tricks, it's hard to even get a scale or sense of what's going on that it just kinda feels like nothing. like the philly garbage can ollie into the propped tile, it's him rolling up then all of a sudden the garbage can is taking up 75% of the frame and you see just his legs going over it.
i'll probably return to the nik part over and over, that was pretty perfect to me.

finally got around to watching this, glad i downloaded it immediately. initial thoughts:

i posted the other day about people complaining about filming too much, but bill's angles really are that bad. i get the vibe he just walks up to the spot and wherever he happens to pull his camera out is the angle he films from

filming aside i really like the way this video is set up. meatier than cherry but not as bloated as blessed, i appreciate his color grading too

felt like there was a lot of outward aggression towards security guards and randoms in this one, not as into that

can't wait for everyone to inevitably try and pick apart all of tyshawn's very legit tricks over trashcans. part wasn't as good as the general but it was pretty fucked regardless

sully is okay but i was into his part more when i thought he was skating to NIN vs deftones

ben kadow's part killed me

patrick (redhead kid) and troy (lightskinned dude with green eyes) had my favorite footage. that sequence of patrick slamming twice on that guardrail spot was brutal

i think the Nik Stain/Metallica thing was probably an Homage to Ricky O in EE3.  Doesn't really work as well without the fisheye follow filming

bold move to start out your big video with 10 minutes of some boring teenager one downing every spot in NY

overall a lot of goofy ass kids in this one, was kinda wack actually.

pretty over these hip NY/LA scenes in general.  shit is getting super stale and boring.
