$1.5 million? Rocco got a way better deal.

the $1.5 million carrying value is an accounting term – it doesn’t mean Highline paid that for Dwindle. The sale price of Dwindle was not disclosed

So I know everybody thinks Globe is lame, but they bought Dwindle a long time ago and the founders of Globe were actually skateboaders in some capacity.
I don't know about the owners of Highline Industry, but the sell a mix of skateboarding stuff like helmets and Sector 9 boards, but also have licenses with Hello Kitty and Troll dolls apparently.

I hate to say it but Dwindle has struggled with any sort of relevancy with modern skateboarding, so this may be a good deal on Globes end to dump the extra cost. Maybe they can afford to give Appleyard another shoe.

I was gonna ask the same thing.

The transaction includes the brands, working capital, domain names, social media accounts and the personnel attached to the Dwindle business

This doesn't sound like the new guys got it.

I was curious about that as well. No mention of it in the articles Ive read, but I can't see Highline NOT wanting their own wood shop. Seems like it would be part of the deal to me.

Doesn’t one have to be dead in order to spacewalk in ones grave?

Enjoi is the only interesting brand associated with Dwindle. Almost has some interesting riders but is such a bland brand.
