I always liked enjoi because they represented the fun side of skating to me. Between the ads, the graphics and the team I liked that they didn't take themselves overly serious like so many brands do today. I like the idea of enjoi and jacuzzi being sister companies with the OG's and old heads on enjoi and the younger guys on jacuzzi. I don't understand why so many people are being dramatic about this, it's like you people hate fun.

also this might be an unpopular opinion but i never really got down with louie's clownery, it always felt forced to me and i would guess that the dude is probably an asshole in real life. this is totally unsubstantiated, i've never met the guy, but that's just the vibe i get from him.

I'm glad I found out about this on Valentines day. I thought for a second that this might be a sign to reach out to my ex girlfriend from the early 2000s, but then I remembered driving back from Long Beach after finding out I'd been cheated on whilst scream singing "superstar" by The Carpenters (Jerry's song from bag of suck, but his song was actually a cover) and ugly crying.
Some re-release graphics would be cool. Looking forward to new ads.

As an enjoi lover I have kinda mixed feelings about this. While it’s really cool that Louie got the brand back it seems like a passion project that might not end well. Jacuzzi feels like it was finally getting some brand identity that wasn’t in enjoi’s shadow and this could be a step backward.
But in an ideal world this will be another Baker/Deathwish or FA/Hockey situation where the two coexist with their own things going on. Only time will tell

i was doing coke out of a sandwich bag with some randos at the joslin soty party and this very guy with all the logo tattoos walks in and is standing there waiting for a urinal. he starts talking to us about logos and tries to show us his forearms and neckface turns from the urinal still pissing and pisses on this guys leg. the dude looks down at his pant leg all covered in piss, then he looks up at neckface and says “oh my bad”. neckface says “just be more careful next time bud”. you can’t make this shit up.

After eversole left and the brand got passed around it felt like enjoi’s humor was watered down to please the new investors or whatever. Wonder if this time around it will have crude humor. The only brand I'd be down for as either an old head brand (or a farm system/minor league brand) is Enjoi. I don't know how much a board with Rodney, Daewon, Torey, and maybe Shecks would resonate with kids these days.
I would propose the old Enjoy guys either stay put or go back to Enjoi. Leave the other brand to the groms and let them do their own Tilt Mode/Enjoi, but in 2026.

Never relight a cigarette. It’s never as good as it was the first time.
Note: I’m not 100% sure if I personally feel that’s relevant to this enjoi rebirth.
When I was deep in the the throes of quitting smoking, having a little fella to relight probably helped me succeed.

That would be an interesting move given the core differences in Chet and Louie’s philosophies . Louie wanted to keep enjoi out of Walmart while Chet wanted to put decent dark star set ups in Walmart.

I don't think I've ever bought anything else from enjoi, but that board is rad.

I remember when I was a kid I was hyped on "BLIND: What If?" which was absolutely bonkers.. then Anti-Hero's " Tent City." which was kinda like "what the fuck is this?" I enjoyed the skateboarding and specifically wanted to see the Tony Trujillo and John Cardiel parts but I guess I was too young to appreciate it for what it was as a snot nosed 13 year old. then I remember being hyped for "Fully Flared" but I don't remember Enjoi's "Bag of Suck" promotions or ads around that time. when enjoi is mentioned, the first thing that pops into my mind is an orange advertisement with a panda and a funny slogan or something and then louie barletta and jerry hsu antics. I remember jerry hsu's Emerica ads.
maybe why I overlooked bag of suck as teenager was due to other videos being dropped at the time. idk.

Would Daewon on Enjoi make sense? Not saying I have seen any evidence of him riding for them but he's still doesn't have a board sponsor and wonder if he'd ride for a company just for the heck of it. I still want him on Girl oddly enough.

Daewon on enjoi makes way more sense. Lots of low impact razzle dazzle and non serious skating. Would have been rad if he were on chocolate at their peak but that ship has sailed.
