Nah man , Josiah fucking rips . Liked everything about this kid cept his YO flips in the start , But after apperently getting shit for it he fixed the YO flips and now has pretty fucking good style and trick selection . The dude has nice pop too

really? i thought it was a pretty good fit. His style is really smooth and he fucking flies down shit and catches tricks really proper. No more of that yo-flip shit either.
I used to hate this guy when he was doing yo-flips, but since he stopped doing them, hes rad. Also, hes not one of those faggy christian preachers either, he just kinda said it straight in the last interview, so thats also cool in my books
Only stupid move i see is for him to leave stereo, seems like he had a good opportunity giving the level of footage he put out in the last part he put out, and seemed to me like he was a good fit.

How about Toy Machine? I like Josiah, he has a decent style, alright tricks and seems like a normal kid whitch is rare these days. I dont know how hard he´s riding religions dick but other than that and his somewhat trendy tricks he would be a good addition to Toy Machine. Josh Harmony could use a friend among stoners and sinners.

But there was a lot of things business/marketing/team wise that I didn't agree with. And it really messed with my head every time I went out to film a trick. I wasn't confident in what was going on. With that said, before I left, Tommy Fynn had just got on Stereo, just to clear that up with the rumors. He prob doesn't even know about my switch yet, he's in Australia killing it right now and i don't know his aussy number to tell him. But we became really good friends when i was in L.A last month, and i really hope that Stereo takes care of him. To be honest, they kinda have to. Otherwise, somebody else will pick him up. He is a machine. I've never seen anything like him. Dude rolled up to stoner and did every trick possible on the hubba almost first try. I love that guy. Amazing.

Josiah called me last week and was looking to move on from Stereo for whatever reason; I told him a few dudes weren't gonna make the ZERO/DGK tour due to injuries, so I could offer him a seat in the van. He was psyched, so he quit Stereo and he's going.
I know it might seem like a wild card for Zero, but the kid's cool, super motivated and damn good.
I'll bet on passion and talent every time.

I'm not a big Josiah fan im not religious nor am I some political correctness advocate but I don't see why Christians get so much shit, I mean it's a legitimate religion that's been practiced for a couple thousand years by MILLIONS of people.
I think getting Satan tattoos and running around screaming "Satan" is pretty damn kooky but you never hear shit talk on lizard king about that shit in fact people think it's cool and funny. Well I'm pretty sure he's not a real satanist or occultist so I just see it as immature and childish and someone who craves attention really bad.
Anyhow I just think it's a lame and unfair double standard, the only exception to judging someone for their religion is if they're into scientology because that shit is fucking kooky...

Secondly, I told Josiah the exact same thing I told Ryan Lay; our team is big and I don't know what we can do for you. However, timing was on Josiah's side cause the next leg of the Zero/DGK tour starts in Florida next week and we have an empty seat in the van. The rest is up to Josiah.

That's a fair response and hey it's Chiefer's company, I know Ryan Lay isn't gonna be the next Chris Cole or anything and that's what's so rad about him. Josiah is already such a hot name in "mainstream" skateboarding by coming up via the berrics, so he is more marketable to that demographic which is a large one. I all honestly that's probably why he gets so much hate on these boards, oh yeah and because he is Christian and isn't afraid to admit it, which I think is unfair. I'm not trying to throw too many stones here, I've never met he kid and for all I know he's a rad dude, so I wish him the best with Zero, it's certainly is a great opportunity. Personally I would've made room for Ryan Lay, dude is that fucking sick, but again it's not my company. As for the whole quitting Stereo thing, he even said in a Berrics video that came out today that he was ready to go to art school and shit and Stereo flew him out and he started making his career in skateboarding because of them so without a doubt the right thing to do would've been for him to tell them, and you know what maybe he did but it was already too late because they had already heard through the grapevine, I don't know. In fact I bet Stereo was stoked by the news, if they weren't psyched on his clips or his skating him quitting made it easy for them.

That is actually a legit move. Telling another company that one of their riders is talking to you is the right thing to do. I think people mistook Jamie telling stereo Josiah quit, when in actuality he told them that Josiah started talking to him. Maybe before Josiah started talking to Jamie he should have told Stereo how he was feeling, or maybe he did. But it sure doesn't sound like Jamie did something wrong.
