How did you fuck up your leg?
On Bob's Mega Ramp back in November; I bailed an air on the quarter and went to flat.
Is there footage of it; will it be in the Plan B video?
Yeah there’s footy; it’ll be in the video.
What kind of surgery was it—were there multiple surgeries?
I had to screw my tibial plateau back together and attach a plate to my tibia, and then I got compartment syndrome, which is swelling of the muscles. That’s why I had those huge gashes in my calf.
How come you didn’t have insurance?
Because I had quit my old insurance too long ago to reinstate it and hadn’t been with my new one long enough to cover hospital stays and major surgery.
What’s up with the party this Saturday March 10th?
Eden and I used to throw partyies at our warehouse that everyone liked, so he had the idea to do one to raise a little cash for my medical bills. Then it snowballed into this crazy benefit thing, which is fine, but I’m not asking for hand-outs, you know. I just want people to come have a good time and that’s it. It’ll help me out and you might get laid, too—win win!
Will the party help you get some money for the bills etc.?
Yes.
A lot of people are asking why Plan B and your other sponsors aren't helping out. Can you clear the air on that?
Yeah; to clear that up, they’re totally helping. It’s cool ’cause everybody's been wanting to help me out. It’s nice to know that being cool to people all these years is coming back around, so thanks everyone, again!
What‘s your present condition? Are you able to walk with or without crutches?
I’m walking around, but I still can’t skate and it’s killing me on a daily basis!
Assuming you'll be able to skate again, when that time comes do you think you'd try the Mega Ramp again?
If I can go full force again, I’ll go do it for sure.
What can people do that want to help you out? Is there an address or PO Box to send donations?
Just come get drunk. My friend is doing a silent auction and there's a donation PayPal account or something, but just come party—that’s it!
