There seems to be a strange structure to the Vans team these days. Guys like Kader, Glick, Kadow, Aidan, Axel, Johan , Justin Henry all get posted on their instagram but no official announcement? I'm sure at least some of those guys are more than flow and probly getting a paycheck.

Kader is going to almost in 2020. He’s going to have a “darth kader” pro model along with a darth Vader themed pro model shoe from vans.

well yeah, thats what this program is. they are involved, but vans just have different tiers now. it's 2019. it's a little confusing to us outsiders, but if those guys are getting paid, and getting to travel, it doesn't really matter in the end, 'official announcement' or not.

I think they need to be careful and not fall into the Emerica trap, where they had a sick EU squad that never really got pushed. Skaters like Kader, Kadow, Dustin Henry, Karl Berglind do need the recognition/prospect of being on the team page of the vans website.

The whole EU, Canada, International, Asia team lists feel like one big flow deal if you don't include them.

the tiers seem kinda odd(from what ive heard, itd be interesting to see a list). kader seems way more popular/marketable than curren caples or say pedros barros or whoever on the full team. maybe its cuz they were on before? they must be eventually putting kader on the listed team eventually

Pretty sure Vans is doing a separate team repping exclusively the classics line - Axel, Kader, Greyson.

All three of these guys left shoe contracts (pretty big ones) to be on this Vans program.

Do they? Like everyone’s been saying B team is all over Vans’ insta and employees/vets/insiders like J-Lay’s, and that’s what gets you incentive and exposure now. I get that it’s a nice feeling to be on that team page, but the only people checking that shit are the one’s seeing if skaters are “on” or “of”

i think the canadian riders just fall into the vans canada segment

there will be a vans x baker collection coming out fall 19, i think that's when they are planning to fully promote kader instead of whatver they're doing now
