I have had 3 fancy lad decks in the last 8 months. 2 of the ‘iPhone’ graphic, and one (currently) Tomassello. All 8.38.
In my opinion they are great, just like any other deck, but I only skate curbs and flat ground. My current one has stayed stiff and “poppy” for quite sometime.
I was actually weary cause big and tomasello always seem to be breaking decks in their footy, but I was pleasantly surprised. Gonna get my 4th soon, hopefully they have an 8.5 in stock.
They are definitely my favorite company right now.

I had one and it was solid, on par with most of the good wood shops - though I don't know who they use. Had a normal popsicle shape and can't remember any distinguishing features i.e. shovel nose, or anything like that.

Yea that happens when you cut a chunk out of a deck, put a door hinge on it, and do dolphin flips. Footage is always top notch though.

Lol true. I’ve seen him snap decks on like a pressure flip and big seems to just destroy decks on like 4 stair kickflips. But he’s like 6’4” and skates an 8.0

I have a 8.0 Fancy Lad deck that I've skated on and off, switching between a Baker deck on occasion. It's served me well so far, and I'm a heavy guy around 210lb. However I'm not exactly using it for high impact tricks as I skate more cautiously these days.

Decks are clutch wood, solid and snappy.

I skated the Justis Walton shape for a while and would get another without hesitation.

I think they use Chapman wood. Haven't ridden one, but if they're anything like the old Zoo boards they're probably rad.
