Great company. I’ve skated plenty of their boards have have nothing bad to say. I’ve skated a few 8.38 that would taper Smaller towards the tail and that were pretty flat concave wise which I’m a fan of. The 8 I had last year had a little bit of steeper concave if I remember correctly.
As far as the wood itself  goes, the last one I skated chipped up pretty quickly but that’s it.
I’m very athletic, I enjoy the arts.

I dunno why but I just really like this video. I always re watch this setup vid and it makes no sense why. It just looks right. The music, the way he skates at the end. Now I want a 5boro deck.

5boro uses south central wood like Politic brand, DOA and Northern co
Medium kick with medium deep concave. Heavy and sturdy decks. I think there are a few 5boro around that’s older that’s China wood. That China wood was so garbage and so flat. I believe blood wizard used that same woodshop but now they back on south central which is very good

I want to support 5Boro but it's really hard to find some boards/clothing in Europe
Does anybody knows where can I find some stuff?

I’ve got the 8.5 Flowrers deck which is fantastic

My deck previously I sized down to Girl 8.25 with a 14 wheelbase

The 5boro was listed as 8.5 but it’s definitely an 8.6 and is about an inch longer than the Girl deck. Wheelbase is 14.5 but I thought it was 14.25 when I bought it, I was just mistaken.

Kicks are almost the same length, with nose being about a 1/4 inch longer

Medium full nose and tail, less square than FA/Quasi but definitely chunky and not pointy

Concave was way steeper than expected but I love it. I would call it a steep concave and its noticeable when you put your whole foot on. Flip tricks work great with the shape, manny’s are a little harder to hold than I’m used to

Feels nice and heavy in a good way. It’s a solid deck and the wood is great. Way more pop than my last FA and Girl decks

Would recommend!

This thread just made me order a deck from them and I got the same one.  It says 14.25wb on the site but you’re saying it’s 14.5,  what trucks are you running with it?

It is 100% 14.5, but works great for me. The deck is long so its not like the nose and tail are way shorter because of the long wheelbase, its a very symmetrical boi

I run Ace 44, but have a feeling a size up would be nicer for manuals or transition skating. I think because its a big deck having the 44 make flip tricks and scoop tricks easier. One foot turning while pushing on this deck with 44's is fucking amazing because of the concave

Enjoy the deck and let us know what you think!

I fixed Mark Nardelli’s computer when I was a Genius at the Apple store. He was super cool then would always say what’s up when I saw him at LES after that. I’m currently skating one of the flower graphics. He’s one of the realest, their graphics are on point, and they skate well so I’d say go for it. 90% of my tattoos are from Smith Street and they did a colab with 5boro as well so that’s cool.
