I’m sure shorty’s is going to re release every Muska graphic that they can. They released the Muska silhouette graphic for $60 a board, then realized there was a huge demand for them and released blemished versions this week for $70. Shorty’s is definitely a scummy brand. I bought a box of DOH DOH bushings and a few of the sets came with bushings that were split. I reached out to them on IG and they said they’ll see what they can do. Never heard back, so I reached out again and they left me on read. I love the Muska, but Shorty’s sucks ass.

This is good knowledge, I had no idea. Sucks that I spent a good amount of my life in the S-H-O-R-T-Y-S hoodie.Though it's unlikely they profited from that.

They aren't using Primewood. I don't know where they are sourcing their decks, other than being cheap China decks, and I know Muska bought a heat transfer and is trying to do this all himself.

As a japanese american, all i can say is that even though its still used today by the japanese navy, that flag signifies a very different time in the history.  I personally think the graphic is sick (i had a couple of them when i was a kid), but when you dig down into the history of imperial japan, it gets dark real quick. That being said, the rising sun has been used over and over again in some form and probabyly wont die any time soon

The original Rising Sun Muska graphic was an homage to the Hosoi Rising Sun graphic, which, back then was still fresh enough in our collective consciousness that we were more apt to overlook its context.
