The last guy was great, but the guy right before him, the skinny/younger/Vallely-looking guy was my fave. Fakie 180 melon grab varial to mute thingy down those stairs! Who is that? Dude was cre-a-tive.

I know Vans is paying the bills and all, but slim this down to all the guys not on a legit board sponsor and this vid could've launched the next Polar or Isle. Pfanner, you know it's time!

Martino and Willow should be straight to pro for GX1000, I don't know what other crew could match their skill, trippiness or overall insanity

The way he skates Martino's wrist is probably perma-bruised. He was on Madness no?
[close]

he was yeah. i assumed he'd have a spot on opera (which i understood as being like the reincarnation of madness ala jacuzzi from enjoi) but he doesn't.

someone should snap him up.

He seems like the perfect Opera guy. Shame he's not on but hopefully this gets him hooked up and paid

Cattaneo being without a sponsor is a shame really. Dude is 30 apparently, pay him now, skateboarding!
I wonder if part of the problem is that he hasn't traveled to the US enough, to get his name out there? Did he ever come to the US??

Also yeah, Nyberg really does look like a young Vallely. And I like his skating too.... Plus using that Alpha Blondy was an awesome idea (reaggae singer from Ivory coast). Now that's an artist I really never expected to hear in a skate vid!!

That's Yeelen Moens. Nyberg has very few clips unfortunately.

Being on Opera gets you paid?? I couldn't tell you one guy on that team and I frequently forget the brand even exists.

i forgot it after the first time i watched. but rewatched it two times now and the guy at the beginning is introducing every skater, who is then shown in person. i really liked that way, though, i agree with you that a title card before each skater would have been far more convenient

That Greek guy Notis Aggelis is insanely good too. The back 50-50 with like a 7 foot transfer to front 50-50 was one of my favorite clips. If I went to that spot, I probably wouldn't even consider that possible. His gap to front lip was huge as well.

I am a bit late to the party but I have to say Martino‘s part was mental, dude cemented his status as Europe‘s most savage skater, kind of like a nice version of T Funk (not trying to hate on T Funk here).
why come?

Life is too short to be angry at the Shrimp Blunt intro

He was on Thrasher’s Am Scramble a few years ago. He does not get much American footage, I agree. It’s so hard to come up anymore.. so many skaters, so few spaces. I’m glad to see he is still on Vans.

that was an impeccable bs smith bs 180, by the Joakim Phoenix- looking dude who did the insane gap to lip
(seemed to be skating silver trucks- didn't know they were still going )

Notis Aggelis!

And agreed on the smith 180, thing belongs in the Louvre.

He seemed to have lots of momentum after Tom’s Tales, then Am Scramble then going pro for Madness.

And then Madness folds…

Pfanner should put in the word at Anti Hero… though given they put on Doobie it might be too late
