How did Rob Welsh do this dice thing?

His ryde or die part is an all time favorite of mine so here's another excuse to watch it.
I've always wondered though - what is this dice sorcery he does at the beginning?

Thank you for bringing this up because I’ve always wanted an answer but forgot all about it. I watched it in slow mo and still can’t determine how tf he did it. The die just stops and then goes in reverse. I’d say it was after effects but back then I doubt they had access to that.

Edit* ok so I thought I’d Google this trick and come strolling back in here with a shit eating grin with clear evidence for my fellow monkeys on how this was done. Can’t find a goddamned thing. Welsh is just that dude apparently

I just want everyone to know that I'm only 32.8% skateboarder, and that's on a good day. The rest is just soy and cum.

I had no idea there was a slap for magic.

Or is this a Magic Cafe for skateboarding?

I wonder if there’s a stigma around magic cafe within the magician community.

Casinos a lot of time sell their sharp edged dice in the souvenir shops. If you have some like that  and hold it the same way he is but have another finger on top and blow on one side they spin super fast. I’m guessing he takes his top finger off but I was never able to do it and have it not fall. I was also a kid.

Prime Kelch was pyrexically tragical.

there totally is. I have been trying to teach myself some card tricks (I'm about as good at magic as I am at skating so super bad) so I've read up on all sorts of shit online. people fuckin hate the magic cafe, but I would say for different reasons than here. magic cafe is kind of like uptight 60 year old neverweres whereas slap is uptight 40 year old neverweres. huge difference

Hopefully not a kook, but if so, fuck it.
