no no my friend. Old testament makes it pretty clear that making any marks on your body is a sin against yourself and you creator, and you are committing a high level sin if you do it. The old testament has no heaven or hell, but if being gay, a sin mentioned only in the old testament, is a hell worthy sin, than a sin which is described worse than an abomination that homosexuality is, would get you a one way ticket straight to hell. Tattooed people are not allowed to be buried in jewish cemeteries, gays are. One is considered to literally be evil for his sins, and it is not the gay one.

fair enough, but old testemant law is not relevant since Jesus' death. unless you're Jewish and don't accept Him as the prophesied messiah...

and probably through more historical research, there are legitamate reasons as to why tattoos were prohibited.

I don't think that's entirely accurate, theologically. If the Christian consensus thought that Jesus negated the OT, then we wouldn't have kooks trying to put 10 Commandment monuments up at courthouses.

You won't 'go to hell' based off of tattoos.
OT is definitely relevant with christians, but is kind of regarded as 'half the truth' while the NT is 'clarifying the old truth'.

^Actually the opposite is true. There has been some exception with the tattoo rule because of the holocaust. People got tattoos unintentionally there, but have been allowed to be buried in jewish cemeteries. Piercings are sins no matter what.
