Ah fathers day.... the one day a year I can sleep until 10. Happy fathers day to all the other dads.

I got the best present ever yesterday. My son (who has autism) has been playing soccer for 3 seasons now. Yesterday was his last game of the season and the last game in the Kindergarten league. He has never scored a goal or come even real close. His issues make him... not the best athalete. Anyway, on the way to the game yesterday he says to me "it's ok if I don't score a goal this year". I felt shitty for him because he REALLY wanted a goal this season and I knew he was bummed.

Long story short he scored a goal in his final game. He got a break away and banged it in from outside the goalie box. You would have thought we won the world cup the way all of the parents reacted. Everyone was so hyped for him. It was great.

ANYWAY... you little scrubs better do something good for your dad today and appreciate the fact that he knocked up your mom all those years ago.

at lunch he shouted at me and nearly hit me because i was giving my mother constuctive criticism on her computer's file organisation.

That's a rad story. Today, I'm probably gonna watch some TV with dad and than go to borders and grab a book for him. It's 100 degrees today, no way I'm skating anytime before 7.

I got to sleep in and woke up to a card hand made by my little guy. Hopefully I can cop a fathers day BJ form the wifey. Plus im throwing an event today with some local brands at our ghetto spot. Lots of beers and BBQ, plus a best trick comp for cash.

I made a nice fathers day card but ended up giving it to my girlfriend. I felt bad so I bought my dad a pizza.

Father's day meant alot more to me this year than any prior.
See, my dad is dying from lung cancer and heart disease.
He lives on an oxygen pump and can't hardly leave the house.
Well, I was out of town all weekend, but came home early this morning to spend the day with him.
We sat outside and bbq'd while drinking some beers together and just talking.
Then we went inside and watched a documentary on Vietnam and the Marines, b/c he was a Marine in Vietnam.
He then showed me some Military pictures of him I had never seen.
No fancy, shallow gifts, no bullshit, just me and my dad hanging out together.
So glad we got to do this today.

I was supposed to stop playing hockey this year cause my Pops is short on cash and works his ass off.
He was bummin' WAYYY more than I was because he grew up in Canada and hockey is something we can bond over.
So being some a**hole 13 year old rat I bugged enough businesses and organizations into buying ad space in our media guide at 50 bucks a pop. It took me fuckin' 78 hours and 47.5 minutes but i sold fuckin $6000 so I pay for all my expenses and more. I told him today and he cried he was so happy. Fuck yeah.

My dad moved 2 years ago so I only see him once or twice a year which sucks but itll just continue to be like that as time goes on, got to talk to him on the phone though which is rad the seas have been pretty rocky with us lately
