...at this point in the history of the world of skateboarding.

Watching Nieratko try to reason with those two media fucks about what skateboarding is, is pitiful and aggravating.

Hey Nieratko, as long as you and any other skater or industry flunky is willing to take their money, and participate in their "spectacles," they get to tell you exactly when, what, and where skateboarding is. There is no getting around that irrevocable certainty, no matter how much futile rationalizing, justifying, and validating you dupes try to pacify yourselves with.

That lady with the fat arms telling someone like Alex Olson that he can not skate is the clearest example I have seen to date, illustrating how fucked things are with all of these outsiders running and influencing things. But hey, take there money, and...well...yeah...

it's simple. a person like chris has sacraficed more than most of us for the greater good of skateboarding, he's not just sitting around with his hand out asking for a hand-out.

the real story will be next year, to see how many of those who are most vocal right now will return. My bet is Chris, Koston, Jim T., etc will all be back....or at least their sponsored riders will. If you really have a problem with the X games, the answer is simple, don't go and don't bitch.

It's skateboarding, everyone bitches and complains in this culture except for maybe a small hand full and most of those guys feel it too but they just don't express it.
