That was so good.  Had heard they would have a section but didn't see them mentioned on the website.  Definitely buying this when I get the funds.  I got the chance to skate with Soy and Vivien while in Paris.  Couldn't have been any nicer to a couple random Americans.  We actually went to that manual pad into the bank that day.  This really makes me miss that city...
I thought it wasnt just him solo, shouldve stuck with my og thought.

What was the name of the song Phil? Or is there anyone else that knows...
And yes, Paris is so awesome. I was there a few months ago and had a great time. Everybody there is beautiful, except for in Porte De La Chapelle - where the new skatepark is, which is ghetto.

The song is "Methods" by the late Charizma and P.B. Wolf.

that was sick.

i think the entire video is shot on film.

That must've cost a ton of money. For about 2 and a half minutes of color super 8, it's around 15 dollars for one roll, and another 10-12 to have it shipped and developed. I'm assuming they developed it on their own to cut costs, but still, that means that if that entire section was nothing but first try tricks and well planned b-roll stuff (which it obviously was not), that part would cost absolute bare minimum 30 dollars to make. Take into account the other parts in the video, and the tricks people don't land absolute first try, and you've got yourself an expensive movie making experience.

Indeed! Works out at roughly €30 a reel- even when you do them in bulk there's very little savings apart from shipping. In fairness to the lads no one really ran past a few goes with the film- its like the expense of it is an extra insentive to land it.

I think Soy Panday has a real unique style. Its like east coast meets Europe with a cool trick selection.

I think Soy Panday's and Paul Shier's styles are really similar.
