he is not a role model. he's not paid to be a role model. he's paid to wreak havoc on his skateboard. parents should be role models. just because he rides a skateboard doesn't mean he should raise your kids.

Thank you for this. Both parts are incredibly awesome!
I love hearing background stories of photos and getting a bit "behind the scenes".

360 flip style gets discussed a lot more than kickflip style, but kalis has always had one of the illest kickflips. who else? mike daher. nate jones. levi brown. totally different than switch flip style, too...

There are so many good kickflips out there, but the skaters you just listed have one of the best for sure.

but hang on, let's get some of your input- favorite kickflips AND favorite switch flips.
(my kickflips are above, but first-thought switchflips are: carroll, keenan, gino. and aaron szott.)

Never would have noticed how tall that bank is that Kalis kickflipped out of, it seems pretty standard from the footage in Mind Field. Daaaaaaaaaarnnnn.

in that MJ sequence.. you can see the walkers in the background in the first couple frames and then theyre a lot closer in the last frames.. must have been spliced a bit.

just an observation not a criticism or anything

awesome photos and stories.
