I hope they fixed them because they are great looking shoes. I got a pair of samples awhile ago and they just don't fit right, and i wear vans 90% of the time. the problem with them is that where the toe cap begins and the laces end it is very snug, so its not a matter of loosening the laces, however if you go up to a bigger size then they would be too small. Sort of the same problem that the early AVE sk8 lows had EXCEPT that those would break in and stretch after about a week, these don't. Mainly because the sole is not a traditional vulcanized sole(or at least a typical vans vulc sole) they don't have as much give, which would be a good thing if they weren't so skinny at that area of the shoe. As I said they are great looking shoes, even though they sorta just look like those Ed Templeton Emerica Old Skool rip offs.
