I don’t have footage of it because I broke my camera in the process, but I hit a stop rock and landed on top of my VX, fisheye first, and the eye piece damn near broke my rib in the process.

those were some brutal ones! Can tell you have put in years in the trenches!! I was just curious how often this must happen with how close people film all the time etc. makes me appreciate the clips that much more

I could care less about like a ty Evans losing his crazy expensive kit. Its the small potatoes guys I really feel for. I got into film/photo recently and that shit is pricey when you are funding yourself. It really make you appreciate the "small potatoes" sorta of local crew/shop filmers. The amateur video dudes r the backbone of skateboarding.

I cannot, for the life of me, remember what video it is I'm thinking of but there's a pretty memorable (lol) clip from a 2000s big video stuck in my mind.
Where the skater is rolling away from - probably a handrail in my mind - trick at night and he's gonna hit a light or flash set up on a stand and instead he grabs it and keeps rolling with it in his hands. I feel like like it's either a Zero vid, Slaughterhouse or Baker 3 but I really can't come up with who or what video it is. Maybe Lizard King but I'm not even slightly confident about that.

Anyway I love that clip.
