i just judge this type of thing by how much effort i see them putting in, if their just doing trendy half assed no complys and a dribbling kickflip here and there then im not down with it, but if you can tell that they are really pushing themselves to film stuff and really getting hungry on it then you cant really hate on it, unless they have a ego then go ahead and hate away.

I've always thought the more girls in skateboarding will make the kooky guys look like even bigger kooks. Back in the day there was a saying, "you whine, complain, argue more than my girlfriend!" I've never heard a girl skateboarder complain about some guy skater's clothes or shoes. They probably think it's a ridiculous level of insecurity by their male skateboard counterparts. I'm down with more girls in skateboarding, and this topic just shows how jockish skateboarding has become. Skateboarding is an art, there is no mens and women league in art. Fuck actually there are probably female jock skaters in skateboarding now.
