Edit:sorry is my favorite video, I grew up on it, I’ve watched it start to finish more times than I can count, and I rarely, if ever skipped the rune part. I love flip and what it was, not trying to shit on flip at all, it just seems like such a mess these days

Well, flip is officially working on a full length, check the comments on the recent flip insta of the majerus front k. I totally agree their art is kinda bland but the team rips. Always looking forward to berger and majerus footy.

There's something about Luan that keeps me from really digging him. I don't know what it is. He is an amazing skater and looks so natural on a board, and he seems like a fun guy.

It may be that he is just too good. He makes it look to easy. Maybe if I saw more slams I could relate.

Luan should have a legacy of amazing parts but he doesn't. Ability-wise, he literally has it all: amazing pop, flick, speed, and a deep bag of really stylish and proper tricks. But IMO, he just seems obsessed with cranking out part after part of tech ledge circus tricks.

To me, this is the closest thing to a good Luan part, (really just the hill bombs/street lines):

he doesnt really have a definitive part. all the stuff in those parts seems like he could do easily, even if its crazy. i think you get the feeling he could do better if cared more about parts than contests. i guess street league pays though, so what can ya do
