Btw black grizzly is the way to go

I understand the hate against Grizzly because of their stupid marketing stuff, but the fact is that their standard black grip is in between MOB and Jessup in terms of grip and is quite of high quality, it holds well in time and under any temperature, so it's definitively the best I have skated so far. On Tactics it's only ~1$ when you buy a deck.

Never even considered it because it looks goofy. Is the bear outline permanently cut out and, if not, is it visible if not removed?
I ordered a sheet because of the little raccoon guy... I looove raccoons.

Gripped a new sled today with the ultra grip, it doesn't feel grippier than MOB to me, but rather in between regs jessup and mob; agree on the less but bigger feeling grit.

Yeah actually I have one deck that I used it on and to be honest I couldn't tell you what deck it is. Maybe its just on a deck I hardly ever ride or one of the ones I gave away or something but at any rate I don't think it's a "game changer". More of a "slightly different alternative to the 2 grips that most shops have a roll of".

Black Magic has a really nice feel but the last sheet I got was super thin and the first shit flip I kicked into the ground gouged a quarter sized piece out of the nose. Only grip I've had that issue with, including really cheap ones. Maybe if I wasn't a horrifyingly bad skater I would switch to it, but I need something durable with my skill level. Btw if anyones looking for it you can get sheets from TGM for like $5 shipped and they're really quick about getting it to you. They have a fairly decent selection of other more obscure grips as well.

Surprisingly I got a sheet of Element MLB grip (its Pittsburgh Pirates and it was a Kanfoush deck so it felt right) and I really like it.. its smooth but not slick, like it has a high density of a very fine grit.

What's Flypaper like? That might be the only cutout I don't hate the look of.

It's definitely grippier feeling than regular Jessup, no doubt; was skating transition today and my feel were locked in (granted it was new grip) but you could feel the foot position shuffle taking a bit more effort than on new regs jessup.

I've not ridden Fly Paper is forever, is it still done by Madrid?

High density/fine grip is what the Thank You supply co grip is like (which I really like); but you have to cut away the obnoxious white thank you supply logo ;)

How does the Ultragrip slice though? Regular Jessup is like butter, and Mob is a garbage experience in every aspect.

Slices easier than MOB for sure. The last few mobs I've had seemed stiff and brittle.

Has anyone using ultra grip noticed it getting smooth like normal Jessup after a while or does it retain grip like mob?

In my personal experience, it's kinda always been the opposite. Jessup stays relatively the same as it starts mob loses its grit dramatically. Not saying it's still not grippy, but mob seems to change the most from set up to after a few sessions.

I still haven't gotten the new Ultragrip but I agree with Mob going bald quick. One more reason to not like it.
