I'm so glad Scotty James didn't win pipe what an absolute bitch behaviour to the two Japanese guys. Get that jock kook outta here

didnt watch olympics, what happened?

Didn't congratulate them, didn't even look at them, left early. What a bitch ass fool.

That’s weird, I saw a photo of him comforting one of the Japanese guys who missed the podium by a point.

Don’t know anything about any of them anyways

His humor, endurance of brain trauma, and jerk flip innovation make the interview entertaining; but, the grounded support of his filmer make it a cultural antidote.

First person to take his pants off, for sure; maybe the first to leave the chair.

Well done.

Totally. Inclusion of Johannes (?) filmer/'Team Manager'/ stand up comedian/ principle lurker and close friend really elevated it.

The tall T trick was a stroke of genius.

Got some fun riding done in Hakuba over the last few days - picked the driest week to go, but found some stashes last Wednesday in Norikura Onsen. Literally cannot time Japan trips with the right storm

It’s been a pretty substandard year this year, the Temps have been jumping around and almost all new snow we got was followed by rain. We haven’t accumulated that much.

I’m glad the sentiment about spinning to win has become more mainstream.

I remember back in the day, people would be mad and not get why I’d cut their clips out. “What happened to all my footage? We filmed all season!” Yeah, well you only did five good tricks and the rest was a bunch of twirlybirding.

brutal season with snow this year, two passes, went only 4 times.... was pretty close to swearing off snowboarding but bought a cheaper pass for next year at another local and had some good spring days to get me stoked for next year....

Not happy with snowboarding as I hyperflexed both my knees

Thought I had tire my ack at first

I'm good tho I think, I didn't go to the dr or anything

I've been playing cat n mouse with my knees for years to try and not get that thing that spanky has with the cartilage

Riding a track bike with a spinny-ish gear (45x17) helps jiggle it out but I don't have my rollers and I sold my shimano 7600 cranks to pay rent last year, gotta get my shit together

Been doing the whole karate kid shit, standing on one foot and lowering down

I probably sprained the shit above my patella where the big muscles connect which is fine, but all the goofy pinchy nerve pain that comes and goes reminds me of when my cartilage was sneaking around and I'm just kinda bummed on snowboarding rn

I like skating way more and I feel stupid

I still like snowboarding but man, I've had way more and worse injuries there for sure and it doesn't seem worth it sometimes (I'm an "unc")

I'm downgrading to the Ikon base pass for next season. Only went 6 times this season and I'm expecting this next winter to not be great. For those who have been to any of these would you choose Mt Bachelor, Revelstoke, or SkiBig3?

walk backwards, often. It can be helpful for your knees.

Bachelor is super fun.  So many fun side hits, it felt like a giant skatepark the few times I've been there.  Never been to the other two, though.

I remember a couple trails that had winds lips all along the side of it to fuck around on.  Fond memories riding there for sure I hope to make it back.
