My homie just hooked me up with some new STF 83B’s and all I’ve skated for the past 10 years were STF 103A’s. I love being able to slide and revert with ease but I can’t really imagine my wheels being harder than they already are. Is there a noticeable difference between the two.

Sir, I'm going to politely, but firmly, ask you and your common sense to leave this establishment.

What are stf 101s? Old stock or are you mixing something up?
Stf is only 103 and 99.
Spf is 104 and 101 I think
And then there's the bones 100s, the cheaper wheels.

You’re right. I’ve been skating 103A’s. My bad

They’re literally the same hardness.   Just different scales.

SPF wheels are B scale, STF are A scale. Different scales, similar hardness

BUT most importantly, SPF and STF are different formulas. SPF is for parks and transition mostly, STF is for street.

If you've skated them for 10 years, you used to skate 83b. They switched to 103b branding in the last 4-6 years.
