they used to print the f-slur in Thrasher back then too, should we go back to doing that too? skateboarding has evolved in the past 20 years and for good reason. largely leaving getting in physical altercations with security behind is something that skateboarding is MUCH better off with, and when it pops back up it deserves to get called out. shit is so fucking lame. yelling "we tryina get a clip" in some dude's face as if that means anything to anyone. your varial flip down some random double set is not important. trespassing and property destruction are foundational to street skateboarding, but that doesn't mean that it's not nuanced and it definitely doesn't mean it's "right". if someone tells you to leave, just move on. there are other double sets. you can come back later. getting in a physical fight with someone as a grown man over whether or not you can ride your skateboard on their property is laughably childish. it truly should never come to that, "getting a clip" is absolutely never that serious. giving major "but i want it!" tantrum vibes
