I've been hating on him all along, but I'll vouch for that tailslide. that ledge was fucking impossible to skate before that piece of wood made it smaller. It has a slight angle downward, so gapping out to it and trying to lock in was already super difficult. The fact that it is smaller than his tail made it more impressive. For the record, everybody knows where that ledge is, but almost nobody had done anything on it even before that piece of wood was there.
It's a shame that Garret Hill couldn't skate anything because they got kicked out of the only handrail type spot. Good thing Josh Matthews had versatility and happened to show up.
What was the point of having Hustle Jamie around all those days? What's the point of that dude at all? Fucking lush.

My prediction for this is that David kid wins the whole thing, and that at least Chuy also gets some sort of legitimate hook up

yes, that ledge is not your average ledge. garrett tried to f/s nose it and couldn't, nobody else even touched it. not the most cleanest dismount ever, but for the spot, you really gotta give it up.
hustle jamie was there for comic relief the first few days. the next few days he just stayed. then he was gone for a few days. then we got him again at the end. he's also got spots for days in oakland, though i'm sure you do too, gip. but mainly he was the sideshow to help loosen the kids up.
as for the prediction, in a couple weeks we'll see how you did... lots left to come! working on episode four right now.
