That title is kind of misleading.

All they've done is fuse two species cells together.

It'll be hundreds of years (if they continue research) before they'd be able to create any complex creature through this process. Let alone create one that will actually be able to survive. Even longer seeing as I'm guessing there's going to be alot of pussy groups complaining about "playing God" or some other bullshit.

If it is eventually done I can't imagine they'll be able to create this rabbit/human hybrid with the complex brain of a human...
