Just because it might look like one doesn't mean it is. Definite backflip, pretty cool too.

Regardless of the painful intro, I don't see how you guys can hate on progression. I don't see this as an example of a 'just because you can doesn't mean you should' type of trick.
[close]

progression? when will he ever get to use that trick in a skateboarding context? (not a foampit) its an evolutionary dead end, but i guess someone had to do it at some point, might as well be a guy named trevor.
[close]

he did it into a foam pit?  Are you sure you even watched the video?

nope, pretty much all of those were circusy.
just like these:

This is what happens when you try the double back flip padless without a foam pit:

love the sound effects

Is there a thread for this somewhere? That was crazy.

The double backflip was horrible and he landed on some kind of plastic mat. No doubt its hard but why bother.

I figured it'd be covered already, but what is the point of the ramp being made of whatever the fuck it is?it just slows you down and absorbs some of the impact?

The difference between this guy and Chris Jatoft (the one I posted) is that Chris actually rips the streets. I have about 4 minutes of footage of him that will make you trip out. He is honestly one of my favorite skaters. And I am pretty opinionated so this isn't just me hyping up a friend. It is going towards two different projects so you will see eventually.

How do you know this guy doesn't actually rip the streets? He clearly can at least do manuals and 5050's if he's backflipping into them, plus, no padded body, no padded landing.

I don't know, he seems like the type that skates best in a skatepark. Maybe you are right but I figure him as the type to have posted his amazing street footage if he had any.

meh, they're both dorky. But that's skateboarding right? If what gets you off is doing double backflips, then go for it, some people might just call you a dork for it, but people are probably doing that anyway, so fuck it.

also, someone posted in the "gonz falling down stairs" thread something to the effect that we all, as skateboarders, pretty much make asses of ourselves for no reason other than that we wanted to do it. this dude wanted to double backflip. i don't care, but whatever. neither does he, i'm guessing. also, this: "lame niggas be quiet"... every time i hear this song when i'm walking down the street i laugh... not anymore. be quiet, "lame niggas."

dude, that guy way cared and had a long ass video interview before the actual trick, and it was super dorky, but you know, as long as he's hyped, who gives a fuck what I think?

One I believe will be a video part for Metro Skateshop and the other is a video I have been working on for a year and four months. I am hoping to be done in 6 months but we will see because I work like a madman. Hopefully a trailer in the next 3 months. I am not sure on the timeline for the Metro Part.

It is just a web part I believe. I don't think they have any plans to make another video right now.
