to be, or not to be, a dick
« on: March 02, 2014, 03:49:51 PM »
a friend told me a story about running into an old college acquaintance. this acquaintance has since started a skate consulting company, yet is not a skater at all. my friend said, "in all 4 years of college, i only saw this person on a board once, and they were completely out of control and on a longboard." my friend ran into this person years later, while the acquaintance was with some clients, and said, "hey this is my old friend from college. we used to skate together all the time." he was polite, and did not pull his card. i wish he had, but i understand.

how would slap respond?

What the fuck does a "skate consultant company" do anyway? Is he advising nine-jah on which hand rail he needs to kicky front crooks in order to maximize his chance of winning SOTY?

Do nothing and allow them to run their stupid company, most likely into the ground.

And even if you're not kooking it, SLAP will tell you that you are so it's a good way to fatalistically prepare for the worst while hoping for the best.
